Firstly, Silvia and I are safe and well. However our hearts go out to those who where in Washington today, and have been badly affected by todays Tornado.
Washington is a city in Tazewell County, Illinois, United States.Washington is located about 11 miles East of Peoria
. Police and fire personnel still are trying to sift through the wreckage of the tornado that hit Washington on Sunday morning. 1 person has been killed and many injured. It is estimated that up to 250 homes have been destroyed. Elsewhere in Illinois, another 5 people were killed in other Tornado related incidents.
