London England 23rd May to 2nd June 2013 - Part 1

Our trip to London started with a very full Hotel. We stayed at the Crowne Plaza, St James’s, however a small football match was taking place for something called “UEFA Final”. Our hotel had been taken over by the Borussia Dortmund supporters club. On Friday night we could not get to the guest bar as so many German supporters where there, On Saturday night it was like a ghost town and the bar was empty, this might have been due to Bayern Munich beating Dortmund 2 – 1 in the final.

Not sure what the Coldstream Guards would have thought about these uniforms?

This is a must see theatre production. But beware! do not sit in the first 6 rows unless you are happy to get wet.
